Media integrity is critical for societies to have meaningful and productive discussions. Spinning falsehoods and misrepresenting facts is tantamount to 'betrayal' when it comes to professional journalism.

MSNBC News contributor and commentator, John Brennan, didn't hold anything back when criticizing and judging President Trump at traitor, as long as the 'Mueller's going to convict Trump of Collusion' story was in place. Only to have to back up a bit when the investigation came to a close. He admits there really wasn't 'there' there.
Brit Hume offers some limited praise for NY Times and Washingon Post for breaking out of their 'bogus collusion tale' news cycle to treat release of Mueller report on some factual level.
Clearly labeled bias in journalism, aka 'Opinion', is a healthy necessary part of journalism and Freedom of the Press. Opinion just needs to be clearly labeled for the consumer up front and at the tail end.
